Heat Wave Battle Pass: New Weapon and Operator Skill

 

The Heat Wave Battle Pass features free and premium items, including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional COD Points (CP) to spend on your next Premium Pass or Store purchase.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

Expand your arsenal with the hard-hitting Striker 45 at Tier 21, an SMG capable of shredding at longer distances than other weapons in its class. Get the Tac-Deploy Operator Skill at Tier 14, acting as a spawn beacon for the Operator’s whole squad to keep your team together. Other free tier highlights include a variety of camos, Weapon Blueprints, and the SKS – On the Trail at Tier 50.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchase the Premium Pass for the chance to earn all the content available in the Heat Wave stream, featuring beach-ready Operator Skins like Woods — Fun in the Sun; Baker — Underwater; Ajax — Ice Cream Man; and Urban Tracker — Fly High. Turn the tide with ocean-themed Weapon Blueprints like the M13 — Cold Cream; Oden — Road Trip; JAK-12 — Winged Steel; Locus — Crustacean Blue; and the Striker 45 — Tropical Fun, based on the new Season 7 free weapon.

Battle Pass Subscription: Enlist with the Ground Forces by purchasing a Battle Pass Subscription, granting extra rewards each season along with a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x Crate pulls.

Season 7’s Ground Forces rewards include the Adler — Life Guard Operator Skin, the CBR4 — Shark Watch Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Shark Watch.

 

New Multiplayer Map: Seaside

The sun’s out on the idyllic Seaside, a new midsized Multiplayer map set in Spain that was originally featured in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4. Battle through markets and wine cellars, and watch for snipers overlooking the central courtyard.

Flank enemies across rooftops and use the parked tanks for cover during heated fights. The map’s classic three-lane design features plentiful side routes to cut off enemy movement, with the prize being control over the middle.

 

New Multiplayer Mode: Safeguard

In this round-based mode, teams take turns escorting a robot to its destination across the map. The robot cannot defend itself, so the attacking side must keep enemies at bay to prevent them from inflicting damage on the robot and disabling it. If the other side inflicts enough damage, the robot will shut down and be forced into a reboot phase, slowing its advancement.

The attacking team scores a point if they can escort the robot to its destination before the end of the round, while the defending team scores a point if they keep the robot from reaching its goal. The first team to win two rounds wins the match. If both teams are tied after two rounds, the game will go into overtime, in which each team must attempt to escort the robot to its goal in as little time as possible.

 

Tournament Mode Update: Rewards Spinner

Boost your Call of Duty Points earnings with the new Rewards Spinner, appearing at certain intervals throughout each Tournament. Spend them toward your next Battle Pass or Store purchase for access to premium content.

 

New Themed Event: Summer Sizzle

Fill up on some delicious barbeque in the Summer Sizzle themed event. Earn BBQ Coupons by completing in-game challenges and answering trivia questions to take a taste of the barbeque. Each taste gives players a random reward and increases the BBQ’s heat level; at certain heat level thresholds, players will unlock additional milestone rewards.

 

New Seasonal Challenges and Featured Events

Complete new Seasonal Challenges and Events, earning Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Battle Pass XP, the new MacroMag IFS signature attachment, and more.

New Signature Attachment: Keep reloads to a minimum with the MacroMag IFS signature attachment for the ICR-1, providing a deep ammo reserve so you can take on multiple opponents before running dry.

Hot Deals in the Summer Sale

Celebrate the summer with a weeklong sale from 8/11 through 8/26, offering discounts on limited-time content like the Boba Blaster Draw, Shark Warrior Draw, and Oracle’s Tech Draw, as well as the double Legendary Lethal Pair Draw. These Draws give you the chance to earn new Epic Operator Skins, Legendary Weapon Blueprints, Vehicle Skins, and more. Get them while the summer’s still hot!

 

Store Update: New Mythic Weapon and More

New Mythic Weapon: Defeat your foes with the new Mythic AK117 — Grim Ending Weapon Blueprint, a true masterwork featuring sharp black metallic components designed to terrify even the most stalwart warriors. In the same Draw, get the chance to earn its wielder with the Nyx — Death Knell Operator Skin along with other items and Weapon Blueprints.

Other Season 7 Draws include Operator Skins like the Surf Warrior; Zoe — Tropical Flora; Keegan — Paint Baller; and Bulldozer — Shark Warrior. Send your opponents to the bottom of the sea with Legendary Blueprints like the RPD — Mahogany Shooter, the EM2 — Pineapple Crush, the BY15 — Boba Blaster, and the Legendary Striker 45 — Sharp Fins, based on the new Season 7 SMG.

Battle Pass Vault: Fit only for the best Operators, the Elite of the Elite Battle Pass will be joining the Vault in Season 7.
